Ya estoy de vuelta con Battletech. Si, soy un indeciso, lo sé, he vuelto a cambiar de idea sobre el conflicto y bandos pero ahora que me llegaron los mechs nuevos y con ayuda de un grupo de FB de Battletech he decidido que el bando "enemigo" de la invasión será el Clan Ghost Bear.
I'm back with Battletech. Yeah, I'm indecisive, I know, I've changed again about what conflict to play and what factions to use but now that I have new mechs and thanks to the help of a FB Btech group I decided that the "enemy" will be Clan Ghost Bear.
Como vais a ver sigo con mi proyecto de escala 1/700 y solo me queda un mech para acabar esta fuerza, vendrá en un pedido futuro con ciertos edificios y también necesito tanques para la fuerza pero eso ya vendrá con el tiempo ya que no tengo dinero ahora mismo.
As you can see I'm going forward with my 1/700 proyect and there's only one mech to finish this force, it'll come in a future order with some buildings and I also need some tanks but that will come in the future since I'm peniless at the moment.
Lo primero, los dos mechs de asalto:
First, the assault mechs:
Escogí los mechs por su aspecto, el clásico Warhawk y el vistoso Kodiak. El Kodiak debería ser mas alto que el Warhawk pero el primer pedido no había aún escogido un sistema de altura consistente y lógico.
I've chosen the mechs for their appearence, the classic Warhawk and the shiny Kodiak. The Kodiak should be bigger than the Warhawk but in the first order I didn't choose a consistent height system.
Ahora vamos a los mechs pesados:
Now the heavies:
Son un Linebacker, un Ebon Jaguar y el último es una Battlearmor que aun conservaba de cuando los hice en escala 1/300, tiene el tamaño perfecto para un mech a esta escala así que lo pinté y lo voy usar como un mech pesado (aun no se de que modelo de mech hará proxy).
They're a Linebacker, a Ebon Jaguar and the las one is a Battlearmor I still had from my 1/300 mechs, it has the perfect size for a mech in this scale so I painted it and I'm gonna use it as a heavy (the proxy model Is not chosen yet).
Sigamos con el mech ligero y medio:
Next up light and medium mechs:
Escogí el Nobotori-Nin (Huntsman) y el Piranha. Estos dos mechs aparte de por aspecto visual, los escogí cada uno por un motivo:
I've chosen the Nobotori-Nin and Piranha. Both were chosen for more reasons than the visual aspect:
El Huntsman lo escogí porque fue la casa Kurita la que le dio el nombre alternativo de la Esfera Interior y como la fuerta "buena" que voy escoger es de la casa Kurita y me gusta visualmente, lo escogí. El Piranha lo elegí porque me gusta visualmente y sus estadísticas tanto en CBT como AS; es un mech demoledor a distancias extremadamente cortas con velocidad para maniobrar y usar sus armas en ese tipo de combate.
I chose the Huntsman since the House Kurita gave it's IS name and since the "good guys" will be House Kurita and I like it, I got it. The Piranha I got for the design and it's specs both on CBT and AS; it's a heavy close combat hitter, with a lot of maneuverability and speed and can do a lot in this kind of combat.

No es una zona de combate gigantesca y su diseño a la hora de jugar no es el mejor, pero quería incorporar un elemento acuático, una base y algo que diera buena sensación de escala así que hice una pequeña base de aprovisionamiento y defensa en la costa de una zona boscosa con un río profundo.
It's not a gigantic combat zone and the design game wise is not the best, but I wanted some water feature, a base and something to give sense of scale so I made a small refiting and defense coast base on a wooded area with a deep river.
Los edificios son partes de Warhammer 40k de ciertos vehículos y los tres "rascacielos" mas altos son de Picoarmor en escala 1/900, de resina. Los árboles son de metal de esta misma marca, el resto es carton, corcho y mucha igenuidad.
Buildings are some Warhammer 40k spare parts from some vehicles and the three "skyscrapers" are from Picoarmor in 1/900 scale. Trees are too from this brand, they are white metal, the rest is cardboard, cork and lots of ingenuity.
Y esto es lo que llevo por el momento, espero que para la próxima sean los mechs del otro bando y un reporte de batalla aunque antes seguramente pondré mis minis para SAGA y quizá un reporte del mismo ya que me llegaron mis Cruzados. También voy hacer una review de una bolsa de transporte de Feldeherr que compré una vez la haya estrenado.
And that's it for the moment, I hope next entry is the mechs of the other faction and a battle report although first I will post probably my SAGA Crusaders and maybe a report for my first game. Also gonna make a review of a Feldeherr transport bag I bough once I've tried it.
También decir que he puesto AdSense en el blog. No me gusta ser pedichón, pero si podéis clicar en un anuncio cada vez que entréis y que me pongáis en lista blanca en AdBlocker lo agradecería, asi podría sacar algún beneficio de lo que escribo (y quién sabe, quizá me motivaría mas a probar otro tipo de posts, o hacer tutoriales). Si tuviera seguidores fijos podría abrir un Patreon y hacer mas contenido de todo tipo pero para eso hace falta mucha gente que siga y creo que este blog no la tiene.
I've also got to say I've put AdSense on the blog. I don't want to ask for it but if you can clic on the ads and whitelist my blog I would thank it, that way I can get something out of my writing (and who knows, if it's a success I might try other kind of posts, or tutorials even). If I had enough followers I could open a Patreon and make more regular content and other kinds of it but for that you need a lot of people to follow the blog and I don't think it's the case.
