Miniatura de Grom Hellscream

¡Hola chicos!

Hey guys!

Hoy viene otra miniatura, la de Grom que había enseñado que imprimí en 3D. Lo primero como siempre es dejaros las fotos:

Today a new mini comes, Grom's mini wich I had shown previosly in a previous post. The first, as always, is showing the pictures:

 Thrall...la bruma de la sangre se ha levantado, el cuerpo se enfría, el fuego del demonio se ha quemado en mis venas. Me he liberado...

Thrall... the blood haze has lifted... the demon's fire has burnt out in my veins....I...have...freed...myself...

Esta miniatura fue una gozada para pintar si os soy sincero, llevaba mucho tiempo queriendo hacer un orco del estilo que me gusta (véase estilo Warcraft). Los verdes fueron divertidos de pintar, tuve que reforzar partes con masilla líquida, le tuve que hacer la coleta, hice NMM en el hacha para el oro y a los metales les hice luces con blanco.

This miniature was a pleasure to paint if I'm honest, I wanted to paint a orc in my favorite style (Warcraft orc's style). The greens on the mini were fun to paint, I had to reinforce some parts of the mini with some liquid green stuff, I had to make the hair, I used NMM in the axe for the gold parts and the metallics were highlighted with white.

Con esta miniatura quizá cumplo un sueño que tenía de niño cuando jugaba al Wacraft 2 en Pc y es que siempre quise tener los héroes en miniatura y con este empiezo a tenerlos. Pienso hacer algunos mas de ellos y un tauren en condiciones no como el que me salió mal impreso por culpa de la mala medición de la altura del brazo.

With this mini I complete a wish I had when I was a child when I played Warcraft 2 on Pc and that is that I wanted to have the heroes on miniature and this is the first one. I'm thinking on making some more of them and a good tauren with correct size, not unlike the one I made with atrocious size because of the arm height.

Y ahora para quienes no lo sepan ¿quién es Grom? Pues Grom Hellscream es el fundador del clan Grito de Guerra salido del Warcraft 2. Es un personaje que ha sido muy relevante para el trasfondo del Warcraft y a mi me marcó mucho de pequeño. Os dejo un link a algo mas de información:

And now for those who don't know, who's Grom? Well Grom Hellscream is the founder of the Warsong clan and he comes from Warcraft 2. It's a character that always was quite relevant for the lore of the game and I liked him a lot when I was little. Here's a link with some more info:

En fin eso es todo por hoy, quizá el miércoles pruebe Open Combat y haré un post resumen de la partida para que veáis un poco como va, a ver si puedo hacerlo.

Miniatura de Zinogre

Si, como siempre tardo milenios en subir cosas. Creo que voy dejar de mencionarlo, ya sabéis de sobra que tardo.

Yeah, millenia has passed since the last post. I think I'm gonna stop pointing it out, you already know it.

En fin, últimamente estuve mirando mucho blog y he visto que el formato que se tiende a usar es enseñar una sola miniatura por post pero enseñarla con mas fotos así que creo que voy cambiar a ese sistema así podré enseñar mas cosas ya que suelo hacer mas de una y dejo todo mas bonito incluyendo quizá algo de lore o un vídeo de la miniatura en cuestión de cada vez.

Lately I've been reading a lot of blogs and I noticed that the usual format used is showing just one miniature but with more picture so I think I will change to that system so I can show more and make it all a lot better and trying to put some lore or video or whatever from the mini each time.

Pero dejémonos de tonterías y vamos al meollo. Hoy os vengo a traer esa figura de un Zinogre de Monster Hunter sacada de un llavero:

But less blabber and more minis. Today I bring you the Zinogre mini from a keychain that I found:

Así era antes. Colores quizá mas acertados que como lo dejé pero muy aburridos, hasta le faltaba colores como el interior de la boca así que hice lo mío:

That's the before. The colors may be more appropiate than how I left it but they were such a bore, even the mouth wasn't painted so I've done my magic:

 Considerando la base y todo me llevó unas tres horas. Los colores no fueron los mas acertados pero me gusta como quedó, con contrastes fuertes y mucho mas colorido.

Considering the base and everything else it took about three hours. The colors aren't the most exact but I like how it turned out, with high contrast and prettier colors.

He de decir que es la primera vez que uso rosa y como no lo tenía lo tuve que mezclar. Tuve que usar uno chicloso y uno mas rojizo con lo cual aún fue difícil pero creo que quedó bien y es un buen color con el que trabajar.

I have to say it's the first time I use pink and I didn't have it so I mixed up. I had to use a bubble-gum pink and a reddish one so it was kinda difficult but I think it looks good and its a good color to work with.

 Los ojos apenas se aprecian pero la verdad eran pequeños y apenas podía llegar con el pincel pero algo se notan así que creo que llega como efecto.

The eyes can't be seen too much but they were small and my brush almost couldn't enter the eye socket so it's enough as the effect.

La base cuenta con el efecto que usara en la miniatura de Anima (Xavier para ser exacto), use cola termofusible, puse rápido una piedra y tiré. Quizá estaba demasiado caliente con lo cual apenas se elevan las rocas (una pena) pero aun así me gusta. Le hice un cráter y luego fue pintura simple.

The base has the same effect I used on the Anima mini (Xavier to be exact) usung thermal glue I put the rock fast and pulled out. Maybe the glue was too hot so the rocks are almost on the ground (wich is a shame) but I like it anyways. Made a crater and simple paint.

Y ya está por hoy. He de decir que he observado un aumento de tráfico a mi blog (no se porqué) pero eso anima un poco. La gente sigue sin comentar ni seguir el blog pero bueno, poco a poco.

And that's it for today. I gotta say I've noticed more traffict to the blog (dunno why) but that makes me a bit happier. People still don't comment or follow but little by little.
