Encuentro al anochecer

Hey folks!

Como bien dije, hoy jugué mi segunda (y tercera) partida de Gundam Skirmish así que os traigo el reporte de la primera con imágenes.

As I said I played today my second (and third) games of Gundam Skirmish so here's the report of the first one with pictures.

Para aclarar, mi miniatura blanca es el Shiden Custom y de el lado de mi contrincante, los dos mechs identicos (Summoners de Battletech) son Zakus II y el pintado (Dragon de Battletech) es un Zaku II comandante.

Just so you know, my white miniature is Orga's Shiden Custom and from my oponent side, the two identical mechs (Battletech's Summoners) are Zakus II and the painted one (Battletech's Dragon) is a Zaku II commander.

La partida que jugamos es a objetivo, tiramos por escenografía y toco planicies. Pusimos en el medio un edificio científico que haría de objetivo y tiramos en efectos y tocó partículas Minovsky (quita habilidades como scout y cabina panorámica).

We played a game of objective, we rolled for terrain and it was plains. We put a scientific building in the middle as objective and rolled effects of weather and got Minovsky particles (nullifies scout and panoramic cockpit skills).

 También toco atardecer pero cuando atardeció ya no tenía efecto. Se jugó a 6 turnos y jugamos de manera que cada turno si había unidades en la zona de control, se contabilizaría y el que mas tenga gana un punto ese turno.

We also rolled twilight as time of day but as it got into night it wasn't relevant. We played six turns and played in a way that if there were miniatures on the control zone, it would count as a point that turn for the player with more points on it.

Ahora si, ya el relato de la partida (que obviamente no sigue el canon de Gundam, solo usamos mechs de las series):

Tras haber encontrado un Mobile Suit anticuado pero extremadamente poderoso en las minas de Marte, Orga no podía esperar a probarlo. Le ordenó a Mikazuki prepararse para usarlo y en cuanto estuvo listo, salieron a hacer un reconocimiento.

After finding and old but extremely powerful Mobile Suit on Mars's mines, Orga couldn't wait to test it out. He ordered Mikazuki to get ready on it and as soon as it was ready, they went scouting.

Se acercó el atardecer y descubrieron una antigua fábrica de componentes para Mobile Suits y por supuesto, quisieron investigarla pero al acercarse sus sensores lo detectaron: ondas de energia de Reactor Ahab.

Afternoon came and they found an old Mobile Suit component factory and of course they wanted to search it but then their sensors saw it: Ahab Reactor waves.

Al parecer otros vieron también las instalaciones y tuvieron la misma idea. En el horizonte aparecieron tres mechs azules, probablemente de Gjallarhorn, que se identificaron en los sensores como Zakus. 

It seened that others saw the installation too and had the same idea. In the horizon three blue mechs appeared, probably Gjallarhorn, wich were identified by the sensors as Zakus.

Orga tomó cobertura en unos arboles y ambos se prepararon para combatir cuando vieron que los Zakus se estaban escondiendo en una colina lejana dedujeron que querían emboscarlos. 

Orga got cover in some nearby trees and both got ready to fight since the enemy Zaku's hid in a hill on the distance wich told them they were trying to ambush them.

Mikazuki rápidamente desplegó los bits, una tecnología de este mech antiguo mientras Orga intercambiaba disparos de su Shiden Custom contra los oponentes.

Mikazuki deployed bits fast, a special tech from this old mech while Orga trade some shots from his Shiden Custom with the enemies.

Los enemigos parecía que conocían esta tecnología y rápidamente se encargaron de los bits, dejando el camino abierto para Orga, que se acercó a la instalación mientras disparaba en su dirección.

They seemed to know what this tech was and they inmediatly went for the bits and destroyed them, leaving free way for Orga, wich cut the distance to the building while shooting them.

Mikazuki abrió fuego con su Mega Cañón de partículas, casi destruyendo al comandante de los enemigos.

Mikazuki used the Mega Particle Cannon, almost destroying the enemy's commander.

Al ver esto los enemigos salieron de la colina para tener una línea de disparo mas clara a los miembros de Tekkadan ya que estos se acercaban peligrosamente al complejo.

Seeing this the enemies got out of the hill to get line of fire towards Tekkadans members wich were getting close to the complex.

Esto les funcionó ya que consiguieron abatir a Orga y su Shinden con un Panzerfaust lo cual enloqueció a Mikazuki, que pasó al ataque. 

This worked since they managed to blow Organ and it's Shinden with a Panzerfaust wich made Mikazuki enrage and went for attack.

Cayó la noche a la vez que Mikazuki rápidamente acabó con el primero de sus enemigos, acometiendo con el hacha del Sazabi, acostumbrado al combate cuerpo a cuerpo que prefería con su Bárbatos.

Night fell as Mikazuki finished the first of the Zaku's with Sazabi's axe, he was too used to close fighting with his Barbatos.

Al ver esto el líder enemigo entro en pánico y empezó a huir, el poder del Sazabi claramente superior al suyo y dedujo que sería la mejor opción. Su compañero no tendría tanta suerte, ya que Mikazuki también le asaltó de cerca, aniquilando su máquina.

Seeing this the enemy leader got into a panic and run for his life, the power of the Sazabi too much to handle and saw it as the best course of action. His team companion wouldn't be so lucky since Mikazuki got close to him rendering his machine useless in a second.

Una vez acabó el combate Mikazuki fue a ver si Orga seguía bien y por suerte las heridas solo habían destruido su mech.

Once the dust settled, Mikazuki went to check Orga and saw that he only had his mech destroyed.

Orga descendió y llamó a los compañeros y tomaron la base poco después, encontrando nuevo equipamiento que les vendría genial para conseguir mas fondos para la organización.

Orga called reinforcements and took the base soon after, finding new equipment wich would come in handy to get more funds for the organization.

En el movimiento de la base los pilotos de los Zakus lograron huir, aprendiendo una valiosa lección: que Mikazuki es demasiado fuerte y que quizá la próxima vez no saldrían vivos...

In all this racket and movement, Zaku's pilots made it out, learning a valuable lesson: Mikazuki is too strong and maybe next time maybe they won't make it alive.

Fue una partida divertida, y jugamos una segunda en la que use las stats que yo hice para el Sazabi. Una conclusión que sacamos es que este tipo de mechas son demasiado poderosos para juegos normales y que si uno los lleva, los dos deberían.

Fun game and we played a second one in wich I used my own custom Sazabi stats. We drew a conclusion, this kinds of mechs are too strong for normal games and if one of the players have one, both should,

Al tener una salvación baja es demasiado sencillo que salven todos los ataques, incluso los de armas potentes así que hemos decidido que cuando queramos usaremos este tipo de mechs, pero ambos jugadores deben tener un mech con comandante / piloto que valgan los mismos puntos.

Having such a low save roll it's to easy to save all attacks, even ones from powerful weapons so we decided that when we want to use those kinds of mechs, both players will have them with a pilot / commander wich have the same points.

La segunda fue mucho mas cercana, de hecho yo creo que habría perdido si no fuera porque el Sazabi aguantó absolutamente todo lo que se le echó encima.

Second one was closer, in fact I think I would have lost if not for the Sazabi surviving everything that was thrown into it.

Un día divertido, y unas partidas mas divertidas aun, con mi oponente que no se tomo a mal que el Sazabi fuera tan poderoso. Aun nos estamos aprendiendo las reglas y sabiendo que puede con que, asi que de momento no empezaremos una campaña, pero nos gustaría cuanto mas pronto.

Fun day and even more fun games, with a good oponent that didn't take it as bad that Sazabi was so unstopabble. We are still learning the rules and knowing what can fight what, so we won't start a campaing yet, but we would as soon as possible.

En un par de días vamos a pedir Doms y Zakus de Shapeways en la escala (para mi oponente) y para mí el Bárbatos y Mobile Workers de Tekkadan, a ver si pronto los tenemos y podemos jugar una partida.

In a couple of days we'll order some Doms and Zakus from Shapeways in this scale (for my opponent) and for me the Barbatos and Mobile Workers from Tekkadan, I hope we get them soon and play another game.
