Fabula: El mausoleo del bosque

Tor Fearan y su compañía siguen perdidos en el bosque de Farengar. Un buen día encuentran un mausoleo y entraron en el. Para su horror, encontraron pruebas de que un vampiro residía en él. Al verlo decidieron encender los braseros para que la luz le impidiera entrar y montar una emboscada cerca.

Tor Fearan and his retinue are still lost on Farengar's forest. One day they find a mausoleum and went in. To their horror, they found clues about it being the lair of a vampire. Seeing that they lit up the fires so the light made it harder for it to go inside and lay an ambush nearby.

Tras anochecer oyeron ruidos por el bosque y vieron a la lejanía el vampiro con un lobo enorme y un siervo humano.

After it became dark they heard noises on the forest and saw on the edge of the forest the vampire with a giant wolf and a human servant.

El siervo humano vadeo el río lentamente y con dificultad lo que le dió tiempo a Flynn a acertarle con dos flechas y así hacerle caer. Al mismo tiempo el lobo ya estaba cruzando el puente de piedra y Franz se preparaba para interceptarlo.

The human servant wade the river slowly and with difficulty, wich gave Flynn enough time to hit him with two arrows and so make it fell into the river. At the same time the wolf was already crossing the stone bridge and Franz was running to intercept it.

El vampiro se convirtió en una bandada de murciélagos para cruzar el rió sin complicación pero mientras avanzaba entre Franz y Tor despedazaron al lobo con facilidad con lo cual el vampiro decidió ir a por el brasero lejano.

The vampire transformed into a bat swarm to cross the river without difficulty but while it went Franz and Tor bested the wolf with ease wich made the vampire go for the farthest fire.

El vampiro volvió a su forma humana y apagó el brasero justo a tiempo para entablar combate con Tor el cual le estaba venciendo. En desesperación, el vampiro consiguió morder y sanarse algo y rápidamente se volvió murciélagos de nuevo y viajo hasta el otro brasero.

The vampire became human form again and doused the fire just in time to defend himself from Tor, wich was overwhelming him. By despair, the vampire managed to bite him and heal just a bit and quickly transformed again and traveled to another fire.

Franz se quedo en la esquina esperando por si venía pero al ver como volaba se giró inmediatamente, avisando a Flynn de que vendría por la espalda.

Flynn stayed in the corner waiting for the vampire to come but seeing him as a bat swarm, Franz turned away inmediatly and run towards the fire while telling Flynn it would come from the back.

Tor se apresuró a ir a por el pero ni siquiera hizo falta: el vampiro se defendió de Flynn y Franz pero entre los le batieron rápida y brutalmente, tal fue la acometida que Flynn acertó a Franz con una flecha. Ahora solo les quedaría esperar a que se recuperara para torturarle hasta que les dijera como salir del bosque, o bien perecer bajo la luz de la mañana.

Tor hurried towards him but it was unnecesary: the vampire tried to defend himself from Flynn and Franz but they destroyed him in combat in a brutal fashion, Flynn even hit Franz with an arrow. Now, they would wait until the vampire got better to question him about how to get out of the forest, or perish below the morning light.

Partida de Sin Piedad 2.0

Hey there guys!

Hace un par de semanas fui por La Fortaleza y probé una partida a un Hack de Sin Misericordia que ha creado el dueño, llamado Sin Piedad.

So about two weeks ago I went to La Fortaleza and tried a simple hack of "Sin Misericordia" wich the owner made called "Sin Piedad" (without mercy).

Esta es la segunda versión, convertida de la segunda version de Sin Misericordia, apenas ha cambiado desde la última vez que la jugué.

This is the second edition, made because "Sin Misericordia" got a second edition as well, it's practically the same game as the last time I played.

Jugamos una partida en la que un vil noble intentaba forzar a una dama a casarse con el y ella que no quería casarse con el, decidió pedir ayuda a unos caballeros para que la escoltaran a la iglesia mas cercana para impedir que la capturara, pero el noble no se quedó quieto y envió a su propia banda de caballeros mercenarios a secuestrarla.

We played a game in wich a vile noble tried to force a lady into marrying him and she didn't want to, so she asked some knights for safe escort to a nearby church so she could ask for safe haven but the noble heard of her intentions and sent his mercenary knights to kidnap her.

Cada uno llevo tres unidades, el caballero y dos acompañantes, uno cuerpo a cuerpo y el otro con ballesta (en mi caso arco). Las unidades diferían ligeramente pero era tan poco que podría decirse que jugábamos las mismas.

Each played had three units, the knight and two men beside him, one for close combat and one with crossbow (mine with a bow). Units were slightly different but the difference is so small it's irrelevant and could be said we played the same.

Su objetivo era llegar con la dama (la unidad neutral que podía moverse por si misma) a la puerta de la iglesia y mi objetivo era o bien cogerla en lomos de un caballero y salir por un borde o bien matar a todos sus acompañantes.

His objective was to get with the lady (the neutral unit that could move by herself) to the church's door and my objective was to either get her on the back of a soldier and get out from a border or kill her companions.

Empezamos la partida y ambos jugamos cautelosamente, yo protegiendo las aperturas que llevaban a la iglesia. El principio de la partida parecía que iba ir mal para mí ya que pronto me malhirió a un caballero con lo cual mi oponente se volvió mas agresivo.

We started the game playing cautiously,myself protecting the openings leading to the church. At the beggining the game looked bad for me since he maimed the knight becoming an agressive player.

Las tornas pronto cambiaron una vez llegamos al cuerpo a cuerpo: a pesar de que hasta el caballero recibió daños, poco a poco mermé sus unidades. Esto le paso factura ya que después de un rato tenía acorralada a la mujer ya que no la movió en casi toda la partida y gracias a eso pude combatirles poco a poco, intentando forzar combates de mas de una unidad a mi favor y así, al rato acabar con todos sus hombres.

Things would soon change as soon as we got to close combat: even though even the knight had been hurt, little by little I maimed his units. This was a bad omen for him since soon after I had the lady surrounded since he didn't move her in the previous turns and thanks to that I could fight them on my terms, trying to force number's advanatage in my combats and so, getting rid of his men soon after.

Mi caballero acabó pereciendo en combate contra el suyo pero los subordinados consiguieron rematar a su caballero. La mujer aprovechó esos instantes para acercarse algo a la iglesia pero a pesar de sus esfuerzos y que mis soldados estuvieran heridos, consiguieron capturarla a tiempo y llevarla al noble por una buena suma de dinero.

My knight died on combat against his but my mercenaries got to finish off his knight. The lady tried to get to the church between the combats but it was a futile effort because even if they were hurt, the soldiers got to her and carry her to the noble for a good sum of money.

El mundo siempre se regirá por dinero y en el campo de batalla el honor no consigue victorias, al final los que consiguieron sus metas fueron los mas competentes.

The world will always be dominated by the money and on the battlefield honor doesn't get you victories, in the end the more competent soldiers got the win.

Fue una partida bastante divertida y el sistema es tan simple como siempre, simplemente tiene ciertos añadidos comparados a antes (como alguna maniobra nueva) que hacen que el sistema sea algo mejor que antes.

It was a fun game and the system is as simple as always, it just has some slight new rules (like new maneuvres) that make the system a bit better than before.




Por ahora esto es todo, espero que pronto pueda enseñar figuras o partidas, seguramente este sábado juegue una a Gaslands así que trataré de hacer fotos y subir una pequeña reseña del juego.

At the moment this is all, I hope I can show new minis or games soon, probably this saturday I'll play a Gaslands game, so I'll try to get some pictures and upload a report.
