Caldari Crane

Pues ya empecé a pintar las naves para Full Thrust. He usado algunas de Star Wars Armada pero esas de momento no las voy a subir, primero subiré las impresas en 3D.

I've started to paint Full Thrust's ships. I've used some from Star Wars Armada but those won't be uploaded yet, first the 3D printed.

Para empezar hice un carguero, la Crane (basada en la Badger) de los Caldari:

To start I've painted the barge, Crane (based on the Badger) from the Caldari faction:

 Me he basado en la skin "Kimotoro Skeitan" y le añadí algunas pegatinas para que tenga un aspecto mas único. Raramente me gusta el color dorado, pero en esta skin queda muy bien. He intentado hacer en grises normales las zonas metálicas como si la hubieran tratado.

I've based it on the Kimotoro Skeitan skin and added some decals so it has a more unique look. Rarely do I like the gold color but in this it looks magnificent. I've tried making normal greys on the metallic zones like if it was treated.





Me llevo dos horas y veintitrés minutos, lo cual no está mal para una miniatura sola. Hay un par de detalles que no me quedaron tan bien como querría, y se nota donde tuve que corregir fallos de impresión pero aun asi, no ha quedado nada mal.

It took me two hours and twenty three minutes, wich's not bad for a miniature. There's a few details I'm not too fond of, and it's noticeable where I had to reapair the 3D printing mistakes, but still not bad.

Hará de carguero en los escenarios, quizá prepare algún escenario de "gankeo" al carguero, como suele pasar en el EvE.

It'll be a transport on scenarios, maybe I'll prepare a "gank the industrial" scenario, like it usually happnes on EvE.

Aplicación Brushrage de Android

Hace unos meses un usuario de Instagram llamado Hendarion publicó una aplicación de Android llamada "Brushrage" para ayudar a los pintores de miniaturas, recientemente la empecé a usar y me gusta un montón.

Some months ago an Instagram user called Hendarion published on Android called Brushrage to help miniature painters like myself, recently ago I started using it and I like it alot.

La aplicación nos ofrece diferentes secciones:

The app offers a few sections:

• Una para los proyectos 
• Una para inventario
• Una para "How to's

• One for proyects
• One for inventary
• One for how-to's

Esas son las básicas y planea añadir mas.

Those are the basics and he wants to add more to the app.

En la sección de proyectos podemos registrar nuestros proyectos y el tiempo que invertimos en ellos. Podemos hacer árboles de proyectos (por ejemplo, en mi imagen, esta el proyecto "Spaceships" y dentro de el tenemos cada nave y su nombre, la Badger ya la empecé por ejemplo).

In the proyects section we can register our proyects and the time we invest on them. We can make trees (like in my image, we can see the spaceship proyect with items on it, for example the badger is already started).

Dentro de cada ítem podemos poner notas, imágenes y las pinturas que hemos usado en el:

We can on each item add notes, images and the paints we've used from our inventory:

Luego tenemos la sección de inventario donde podemos incluir nuestras pinturas. Yo hoy me puse e hice mi inventario, la verdad tengo un montón de pinturas y salvo ciertas gamas como Americana, tiene muchas y el usuario sigue añadiendo (de hecho le dije si podía añadir los Dazzling Metallics de DecoArt y me dijo que lo haría y se puso a mirarlo al instante, así que se le puede recomendar gamas de pinturas).

After that we have the inventory, where we can add our paints. I've done today my inventory, I've got a lot of paints and save for a few ranges like Americana, he has a lot and he's still adding more (in fact I asked for Decoart's Dazzling Metallics and he told me he would add them and looked at it ASAP, so he can be recommended ranges you have).

Y por último voy a mencionar la sección de "how-to's" donde se pueden subir y descargar tutoriales de la red. De momento solo hay los del propio creador pero ya se atisba por Instagram alguna persona que va subir sus propios tutoriales.

And there's the how-to's section where you can upload and download tutorials from the web. There's only some from the creator right now but there's some people doing guides for it already on Instagram.

La verdad me está encantando y se la recomiendo a cualquier wargamer o pintor de minis, ayuda mucho a catalogar, a recordar con que pintaste, puedes hacer guías paso por paso... Las posibilidades son muy, muy grandes y yo de hecho a partir de ahora la voy usar para catalogar mis miniaturas y proyectos.

To be honest I'm loving the app, and I recommend it to any wargamer or mini painter, it helps a lot to catalogue, record what you've painted, has motivators to paint, you can make step by step guides... There are a lot of possibilities and in fact I will use it from now on to catalogue my minis and proyects.

Ya que llevaba un tiempo sin actualizar quise hacer algo diferente. La verdad desde que empecé el curso no he tenido demasiado tiempo para pintar y no he jugado ni una partida a nada. Recordé las reglas de Full Thrust y volví con mi viejo proyecto de naves, imprimiendo algunas del EvE ya que volví a jugar.

I've been a while without posting and I wanted to do something different. To be honest since I've started classes I haven't had much time to paint and haven't played anything. I was reminded of Full Thrust rules and started again with my old spaceship proyect, printing some more EvE ships since I've started playing it again.

Ahora posteo mas regularmente en Instagram (me podéis buscar como @karlos_n0vah) y creo que relegaré el blog mas bien a partidas, opiniones y cosas por el estilo. Seguramente será menos regular, pero aun así añadiré cosas de vez en cuando, no pienso olvidarlo ni dejarlo (y aun así subiré posts con miniaturas, quizá de menos en menos).

Now I post more regularly on Instagram (you can look for me @karlos_n0vah) and I think I will leave the blog more for games, opinions and that kind of stuff. Will be less regular, but I will still add posts from time to time, I won't forget it (and will upload minis from time to time anyways).
