Salido de la fábrica al fin terminado aquí tenemos al Raven de la GDL:

El Raven es un mech ligero, usualmente con aparatos y tecnología para apoyo a mechs con LRMs o bien para servicios de explorador.

The Raven's a light mech, usually with electronic warfare gizmos and for support to LRM boats or to serve as a scout.

Es una plataforma sencilla, barata y formidable, un gran mech de apoyo para cualquiera que sea la batalla.

A simple, nimble, cheap platform and a great support mech for any battlefront.

Este es el primer mech de la GDL. Poco a poco iré desvelando mas mechs.

Hey guys!

Ya que acabe la mayoría de lo que tenía que hacer de Battletech empecé con la banda del Warcraft. El primero que pinté ha sido Durotan, el líder de los Frostwolves.

Since I finished most of what I wanted to do for Battletech I started with the Warcraft warband. The first to be painted is Durotan, leader of the Frostwolves.

Lo pinté de manera similar a Grom (mismo tipo de piel, misma manera de pintar el acero, el cuero).

I've painted him in similar manner as Grom (same kind of skin, same way of painting steeñ, the leather).

Usé de referencia el arte oficial pero lo adecue mas a como son mis orcos.

I've used the oficial art as reference but changed a bit towards my orc style.

La capa costó un poco hacerla pero creo que quedó suficientemente bien.

The cloak was a bit hard but I think it looks good enough.

Cambié la base para que cuadrara más con mi nuevo tapete. Me gusta como quedo,tiene el mismo estilo que Grom al mirarlo.

Changed the basing so it looks better on the new mat. I like how it turned out, has the same style as Grom when you look at it.

Espero que os haya gustado, sobretodo a los fans de Warcraft. Entrada cortita la de hoy pero es que no ando de buen humor pero quería enseñaros de todos modos la miniatura. Comencé con Kargath así que pronto estará por aqui.

I hope you like it, specially Warcraft fans. Short post today but I'm not in my best mood but still wanted to show the miniature. I've started Kargath so expect him soon enough.

Quince minutos antes de la hora mencionada se detecto una lanza de la legión mercenaria Gray Death Legion cerca de la zona en la que se encontraba la lanza de reconocimiento Bravo, probablemente tras los restos de varios mechs guardados en los hangares pero su auténtico propósito es desconocido.

Fifteen minutes before the aforementoned hour a lance was detected from the merc company Gray Death Legion near the area where the Bravo recon lance was, probably after some mech stored on the hangars but their authentic motive is unknown.

Lentamente se dirigieron a la zona de la lanza Bravo (formada por el lugarteniente Kane Fallon 'Crispy' Chicken en su CN9-AH, el mechwarrior de élite Tj 'Bl4z3 1t' en su ACH-F, recluta Matt 'The Specter' en su CDA-2A y el nuevo miembro Roger en un LCT-1E) que se encontraban en una misión de reconocimiento del terreno para nuestro contratante. Cuando se detectó la otra lanza se les ordeno ponerse alerta y proceder al combate; no debíamos mostrar debilidad ni permitir que uno de nuestros rivales consiguiera ventaja sobre nosotros ademas de ser un buen entrenamiento para ellos. En cuanto la operación comenzó se puso a el contratista Novah como comandante, es un ayudante y cooperador habitual con la compañía.

Slowly they went to Bravo lance zone (formed by the liutenant Kane Fallon 'Crispy' Chicken in his CN9-AH, the elite mechwarrior Tj 'Bl4z3 1t' in his ACH-F, recruit Matt 'The Specter' in his CDA-2A and the new member Roger in a LCT-1E) wich were on a terrain scouting mission for our client. When we detected the other lanze they were ordered to be alert and proceed to combat; we shouldn't show weakness nor permit a rival company to get advantage and also it's good training for them. When the operation started we put the contractor Novah as commander, he's a helper and usual cooperator of the company.

Ya tenemos visualización de vuestros enemigos y no parecen de coña, llevan un Jaegermech, un Hunchback, un Raven y un Cicada como el tuyo Matt, tomad precauciones estos almendrucos están mas familiarizados en el combate que vosotros.

Matt y Tj, quedaos en la retaguardia y fijad blancos para el Centurion, que aproveche su LRM (¿Que cojones hace Tj? Esta avanzando demasiado. ¿Como que tiene adicción a los estimulantes? Joder me la suda, esta comprometiendo a los demás al ir solo, vale que es hábil pero coño, ¡necesito que me escuche!) Tj, vuelve por favor a tu área designada cerca de Matt, tienes al enemigo a medio click detrás de esas dos fábricas gigantes ¡vuelve tras la depuradora de agua! Bien hecho Crispy, sigue lanzando mas misiles, aun si fallan les irán poniendo nerviosos."

We've got visual on your enemies and they're not fucking around, they've got a Jagermech, a Hunchback, a Raven and the same Cicada as you Matt, take precaution this arseholes are more experienced that you are in combat.

Matt and Tj, take the backside and take targets for the Centurion, let's get good use to his LRM (What the fuck is Tj doing? He's advancing too much. What do you mean by 'stimulant adiction? Fuck, I don't give a shit, he's compromising the rest of the guys by going alone, he's skilled but shit, I need him to listen!) Tj, please go back to your designated spot near Matt, you've got the enemy half a click away between those two gigantic factories, go back to the water cleaning facility! Well done Crispy, your not landing the shots but you're making them nervous."

"Bien Crispy, confirmados múltiples aciertos con tu  LRM al Cicad... ¡JODER TJ TE DIJE QUE RETROCEDAS! ¿Cómo que puedes con el Raven tu solo? Me suda los cojones joder, a mi me han contratado para que ganéis y evitar daños al material, no para ver como vuelas por encima de los edificios y mis ordenes ¡joder mira! Si, le has dado pero el te está reventando, ese Raven está en mejor posición, te está machacando el mech. (¿Como que me vais a reducir el pago?¡Si el gilipollas es el por desobedecerme! Está bien, pero para la próxima bajo con ellos yo mismo y si me desobedecen yo mismo les dispararé). Está bien Roger avanza a máxima velocidad hacia Tj e intenta ayudarle a volver atrás. Mientras sigue mandando misiles al Cicada Crispy."

Yeah, you've hit him but he's destroying you, that Raven is on a bad position, he's blowing your mech. (What do you mean you're paying me less? He's the moron by disobeying me! "Ok Matt, back up, I see shots coming to you, center your fire in the Hunchback because I think you've hit it a few times. If you're able keep maintaining the target to the Cicada. Tj, Roger, be calm, you're missing a lot of shots to the Raven, continue backing to your companions."

"Roger, be careful with the Jagermech...! (Shit, do you know if he ejected? I hope the poor boy's alive...) Matt, Crispy, you're on your own, try to focus fire on the lighter mechs and when you see an oportunity flee from the site. Regroup behind that factory, ten seconds and they'll appear"

"Boys Hunchback on the other side of the building, try to engage it. Crispy, if you can take a position behind the hill, it'll protect you from back shots, move ASAP, the Hunchback is making enough damage to you already"

Id enviando una nave para la zona, necesitamos recuperar los mechs y debemos evacuar a los pilotos. Estableced comunicación con los GDL y conseguid un buen trato). Crispy, te has quedado solo, tienes tangos en ambos flancos del edificio, tienes libertad para actuar simplemente no arriesgues tu vida, ya estamos en vías de ir en una nave de salvamento a por vosotros."

"Well done Matt, I think you've damaged the Raven's engine and you Crispy blew up Hunchback's hunch, he's got less firepower now, go on! You've only lost a small laser Matt, don't ger nervous. Yeah Matt, there goes the Hunchback tumbling to the ground! Cover him Crisp... (Matt's down, get a ship ASAP to the area, we need to recover the mechs and evac the pilots. Establish comms with the GDL and get a good deal). Crispy, you're alone, you've got tangos on both sides of the building, you're free to do as you see fit just don't throw your life away, we're on the way to save you all."

The next bit was recorder about three hours later than the incident:

"Está bien, no hemos podido asegurar los mechs pero si sus vidas lo cual es mas irremplazable a mi manera de verlo. Una pena lo de Roger, el muchacho no se merecía morir por una tontería así... Vaya fin para un mechwarrior prometedor... La próxima vez bajaré yo para apoyarles."

"It's ok, we couldn't assure the mechs but their lives we could wich is more important for me. Roger's death is a shame, the boy didn't deserve to die for a thing like this... What a end for a promising mechwarrior... Next time I'll go down to help them."

Conclusión:

Mechs: Tuvieron que ser cedidos para poder asegurar el bienestar de los pilotos

Mechs: Had to be given to ensure the well being of the pilots

Evaluacion del incidente: Las perdidas materiales son aceptables pero este debacle con la Gray Death Legion no podrá quedar así, se han llevado un material excelente de esos hangares y aun encima consiguieron partes para reparación de nuestros mechs. Espero que nuestros pilotos hayan aprendido algo y la próxima vez tendremos que enviar algo mas pesado, quizá incluso a Novah.

Incident evaluation: The material losses are acceptable but this debacle with the Gray Death Legion won't finish like this, they've took excelent material from the hangars and got repair parts from our mechs. I hope  our pilots learned a lesso today and next time will have to bring something heavier, maybe even Novah.

Solaris VII Grudge match

"Es el fin de semana fans de Solaris y ya sabéis lo que eso significa, ¡mas acción de mech contra mech! Esta semana como siempre yo, Duncan Fisher, seré el comentarista de el partido y ¡vaya partido tenemos hoy! Un combate entre dos mechjocks que tenían una deuda que saldar.

"It's the weekend Solaris fans and you know what that means, more mech action! This week as always I, Duncan Fisher, will be the caster of the match and what a match we have today! A grudge match from two mechjocks!

Hoy tenemos a Tyrask, un miembro de esa nueva compañía de mercenarios, los Rabid Wolves con el mech que usa en su compañía (¿estará el jefe conforme con ello?), un Omega SHP-X4 y en el otro lado de La Fábrica tenemos a Novah, un piloto experto y ya experimentado de Solaris en su famoso Timberwolf personalizado, ¿quién ganará y quedará como el mejor combatiente? ¡Lo sabremos en breves instantes!

Today we have Tyrask, a member of that new merc company, the Rabid Wolves in the mech he uses in the company (is the boss allowing that?), the Omega SHP-X4 and on the other side of The Factory we have Novah, a experienced expert pilot of Solaris in his famous custom Timberwolf, ¿who will win and be the best pilot? Well know soon enough!

Turnos 1, 2 & 3:

¡Y allá van! El Timberwolf sale con su característica velocidad debida a su mejora de motor y al menor peso debido a la eliminación de los LRM. Desde el otro lado el Omega enciende su poderosísimo motor de fusión y lentamente comienza su avance. Quizá no fuera la mejor opción para combatir con alguien tan ágil pero es sabido que ese Timberwolf es difícil de parar si no llevas un armamento enorme, esperemos que no le de una ventaja a Novah. Ambos avanzan haciendo temblar el terreno y parece que Novah va a aprovechar los edificios para quizá ponerse a la espalda de Tyrask.

And there they go! The Timberwolf speeds up because of the engine upgrade and less weight because of the removed LRM. From the other side the Omega powers up his poweful fusion engine and slowly starts his advance, maybe it wasn't the best choice to fight someone so agile but it is known that Timberwolf is hard to stop if you don't have enough weapons, let's hope it doesnt give Novah an advantage. Both advance stomping harshly on the ground and seems Novah will use the buildings to maybe be on the back of Tyrask.

¡¿Pero que es esto?! Novah en vez de maniobrar se ha ido a los edificios bajos, ¿que locura es esta? ¡Tiene la ventaja en movilidad! ¿Porque..? ¡Oh,  se han visto y comienza el fuego! Parece que el alpha strike de Tyrask fue un poco anticipado ya que los gauss y LBX-10 han fallado por bastante distancia pero Novah no ha cometido ese error y ha acertado con todo su arsenal.

But what's this! Novah instead of manouvering went to the low buildings, what kind of madness is that? He has the mobility advantage! Why...? Oh, both have seen eachother and the fire starts! Seems Tyrask is nervous because he totally missed that alpha strike because the gauss and LBX-10's didn't even graze but Novah didn't make the mistake and made his target with all his weapons.

Parece que Novah se dirige a los edificios para aprovecharlos ¡¿pero que es esto?! ¡Tyrask sigue recto y Novah le sigue el juego! ¿Quizá quiera demostrar que no le tiene miedo a uno de los mechs mas poderosos jamas inventados? Esperemos que le salga bien la jugada ya que Tyrask esta acertando sus disparos ahora, parece que esta mas calmado pero Novah también es certero y ambos estan ya con los torsos despedazados y muestran la estructura, ¡que emocionante fans de Solaris!

Seems Novah changes course, but what's this?! Tyrask went straight ahead and Novah follows him! Maybe he wants to show he's not afraid of one of the most powerful mechs ever made? I hope the strategy works because Tyrask is now calmer and making his shots but Novah doesn't miss ever and we know it and both have all the torso destroyed and showing the structure, how exciting Solaris fans!

Ambos siguen su carga frontal, parece que van a chocar... ¡Oh dios mio, ambos mechs han caído al suelo al mismo tiempo! ¿Quizá se hayan dado en la munición a la vez o que habrá ocurrido? ¡Es la primera vez que veo dos mechs tan enormes explotando a la vez!

Both continue their frontal charge, they are almost crash... Oh my god, both mechs exploded and went to the ground! Maybe they've hit their munitions or what did happen? This is the first time I see mechs of this size exploding at the same time!

Probablemente si Tyrask no hubiera fallado ese alpha strike que le robo algo de tiempo por la temperatura quizá hubiera ganado pero Novah por ser honorable no uso su clara ventaja en la movilidad, un error total en Solaris ¿quizá hoy tuviera algo estropeado? No uso sus jumpjets como suele hacer. Sea el motivo que sea, este partido ha sido totalmente impresionante fans de Solaris. Espero veros la semana que viene en la Jungla aunque dudo que veamos a estos mecjocks debido a los gastos que van tener que hacer en reparaciones.

Probably if Tyrask didn't miss his alpha strike that staled his attacks because of the heat maybe would've won but Novah trying to be honorable didn't use his clear mobility advantage, a total error on the grounds of Solaris, maybe his engine was failing? He didn't use his jumpjets as usual. Be as it is, this match was unexpectedly fun and impressive Solaris fans. I hope to see you again next week on the Jungle although I doubt we'll see this two mechjocks after this wreck, they have to repair and expend a lot.

Infantería, transporte y tanques para Alpha Strike

Hey guys!

Volvemos a Alpha Strike que le tenia ganas y ahora tengo todo preparado para poder jugar alguna partida. De momento no puedo enseñar los mechs porque no los considero totalmente terminados (pegatinas como siempre) pero bueno ya casi están y así os enseño lo que será la infantería.

We're back on Alpha Strike since I really wanted to continue and now I have mostly everything ready for some matches. For the moment I cannot show the mechs due to not being totally finished (decals as always) but they're almost ready and that way I can show the infantry first.

Lo primero hacer la distinción de que estoy haciendo dos ejércitos mercenarios, la Gray Death Legion de los manuales y libros y mi unidad que serán los Rabid Wolves con el logotipo que ya creo haber enseñado en el pasado. Empecemos por los Rabid Wolves:

First we have to make the distinction that I'm doing two merc companies, Gray Death Legion from the rules and books and my own unit wich'll be the Rabid Wolves with the logo I've think I already showed. Let's start with the Rabid Wolves:

Esos son dos camiones que servirán de objetivos en las partidas. Son unos "M548/M1015s transport truck" impresos en 3d. Elegí este modelo porque eran los que había en la isla Shadow Moses en el MGS1 y ese juego lo tengo demasiado grabado como para no escogerlos (de hecho si algún dia me animo a usar vehículos aéreos pillaré un Hind D".

Those are two trucks wich'll serve for objectives in some matches. They're "M548/M1015s transport truck" printed in 3d. I chose that model because they appeared in the Shadow Moses island in MGS1 and that game is too relevant for me to not choose them (in fact If I someday read and use air rules I'll be using a Hind D).

Este es el primer APC de transporte (un Rhino de Epic40k), un tanque de AC/10 (un Leman Russ de Epic40k) y una sección de infantería anti-mech. Evidentemente habrá mas de los tres pero esto fue una prueba mas adelante cogeré mas infantería y vehiculos.

This is the first APC (a Epic40k Rhino), a AC/10 tank (a Epic40k Leman Russ) amd a amti-mech infantry section. Obviously there will be more but this was a test and later on I'll get more infantry and vehicles.

Aquí tenemos esos mismos camiones pero de la otra facción. Nada especial que añadir.

Here we've got the same trucks but from the other faction. Nothing special to add.

Lo mismo que antes pero de la otra facción. Aun no tiene pegatina el APC en contraste a los de la otra pero aún no llegaron las pegatinas y usaré viejos T-80 que tengo como tanques para esta facción.

Same as before but from the other faction. The APC still haven't got the decal and I'll be using T-80 as tanks but they're not painted yet.

Y esta monstruosidad gigante es una nave de transporte de mechs, una Union Dropship para ser exacto. La hice yo totalmente con cartón, madera, plásticos etc y la verdad es que se ve enorme al ser a escala (de hecho no me llego la pantalla para hacer la fotografía). A esta le pinte yo el logo de la compañía ya que por el tamaño era mas sencillo. El nombre viene de una nave de una serie de novelas que adoro y que aun estoy leyendo; las novelas de la Culture de Ian M. Banks. La verdad me encanta como quedó y vienen reglas para ellas así que hasta podría combatir en el suelo pero bueno mayormente hará de objetivo. La del otro bando la saque de MWO y esta lista para imprimir pero al ser un objeto enorme es muy cara así que tendrá que esperar.

And this giant monstrosity is a mech dropsip, a Union Dropship to be exact. I've made it with cardboard, plastics, wood etc and to be honest It's gigantc being it true scale (in fact the screen wasn't enough to take the picture). This one I've painted the logo of the company because it's size made it easier. The name's from a ship straight from Ian M. Banks Culture's novels. I love how it turned out and there are rules for it so it could even fight on the ground but mostly It will work as a objective. The other faction dropship was extracted from MWO and it's ready to print but being so big it's too expensive so it'll have to wait.

En fin, eso es todo por hoy. Espero que próximamente me llegue todo para acabar los mechs y poder enseñarlos, si hago alguna partida y puedo sacar fotos antes pues se verán en las fotos pero de momento lo dudo. También llegaron las miniaturas del WoW así que pronto me pondré a pintarlas y cuando se pueda se estrenarán.

So that's it for today, I hope everything arrives soon so I can finish and show the  mechs, if I play match and make pisctures they will be seen before but I doubt it. Also the WoW minis came so soon enough I'll paint them and upload them.
