Hoy traigo un par de elementos de escenografía y una mini para Battletech como casi siempre.
Today I bring a pair of terrain elements and a mini for Battletech as always.
Lo primero es un sistema de carreteras que empecé a hacer con corcho:
First a road system with I started with cork:
El corcho es maravilloso, últimamente lo uso para muchas mas cosas que antes es versátil y muy barato lo cual es muy importante y como podéis ver en una de las tres hay infantería nueva, me llegaron unas copias de los catachanes de epic 40k.
Cork is amazing, lately I've been using it for a lot of things because it's versatile and cheap wich is important and as you can see in one of them there's new infantry, they are a copy of the Epic 40k Catachans.
Lo segundo será la miniatura, en este caso un centro de comando móvil para mi ejército hecho con un MTT de Star Wars de la antigua marca de Micromachines. Lo encontré tirado en Ebay por 5€ y me parecía estúpido no aprovecharlo considerando que tenia partes móviles y que realmente parece que es un centro de mando además de ser bastante grande.
The second is the miniature, in this case a mobile HQ for my army made with a Star Wars MTT from the old Micromachines brand. I found it on Ebay for 5€ and I thought It was stupid not to get it considering it has moving parts and really seems like a MHQ also being quite big.
La compuerta inferior venía rota así que hice una nueva a mano y le metí las barquillas de dos Leman Russes de epic 40k (si, también llegaron el otro día).
The lower blast door was broken so I did a new one and put some lateral weapons from two Epic 40k Leman Russes (yes, they did come too the other day).
Y por último una pieza de terreno inspirada por el mapa "viridian bog" de Mechwarrior Online en el que hay los caparazones de animales o insectos gigantescos muertos:

Llevaba un tiempo pensando como hacerlo y no encontraba solución hasta que hablando con un amigo recordé que tengo un Tiránido enjambre desde pequeño y estaba sin ser usado y con un pintado deficiente debido a que de aquellas no tenía la menor idea de como pintar así que lo reconvertí a lo siguiente:
I've been for some time thinking on how to do it and couldn't find any solution until talking with a friend I remembered having a Hive Tyrant since childhood and it wasn't being used and the paintjob was lacking because back then I had no idea on how to paint so I converted it into the following:
Al ser tan grande me pude explayar y así hacer degradados en el caparazón y me base en la flota mas famosa de los Tiránidos, la Kraken, creo que queda bien y el rojo complementa a la arena del desierto. Ya viene pintado como el tablero modular que voy hacer y me esforcé algo en hacerlo mas real poniendo mas tipos de vegetacion (incluidos un par de trozos de hierba muy alta).
Being so big I could do my best and do gradients in the caparace and I based the color scheme on the most famous hive fleet, the Kraken, wich I think looks cool and the red compliments the desert colors wonderfully. I've already painted it like the modular table wich I'm doing and I took some effort in doing it more real by putting different kinds of vegetation (including some high weeds).
Creo que es la miniatura que mejor he pintado hasta el momento realmente (también tenía sitio para hacerlo) y viene bien una pieza así para tener cobertura horizontal en vez de vertical y así que ofrezca cobertura útil al que la use.
I think it's the best paint I've done up to the moment (I had space to do it) and it's good to have something like this wich gives horizontal cover instead of vertical so it will give real protection to the user.
