Pues al final hemos conseguido terminar la campaña de Gundam Skirmish. Jugamos varias partidas mas desde que lo mencioné aquí y perdí todas las batallas debido a una mezcla de estrategia incompetente, ejército desbalanceado y mala suerte con los dados.
So we managed to finish the Gundam Skirmish campaign. We played a few more games since I mentioned it here and I lost all battles due to a mix of bad strategy, bad army and bad luck with dice.
Cuando acabamos la penúltima partida que jugamos yo llegué a la conclusión de que entre todos mis equipos no conseguía hacer uno entero prácticamente así que decidimos que juntaría lo que me quedara y jugaríamos un último escenario a lo defensa final.
After playing the before last game I noticed that between all my teams I almost didn't have enough for one, so we decided that I would put them together for a last stand game.
Conseguí juntar siete pilotos con sus mechs, al final usé el Gusion, cuatro Shidens, el Ryusei-Go y un Mobile Worker. Mi oponente usó tres Doms, tres Zakus y un Magella.
I managed to get seven pilots and mechs, using the Gusion, four Shidens, the Ryusei-Go and a Mobile Worker. My oponent used three Doms, three Zakus and a Magella.
La partida la jugamos en el borde de una ciudad, la mitad era bosque la mitad ciudad. Yo me posicioné en la ciudad y use mucho la altura de los edificios mientras mi oponente tenía que acercarse. Supongo que por la estrategia (y que los dados fueron mas benevolentes conmigo) que usé conseguí al final acabar con cuatro de sus mechs pero nos tuvimos que ir, así que decidimos que mis tropas consiguieron el tiempo necesario para huir todos los miembros de la facción.
We played the game on a city border, half forest half city. I positioned myself on the city and used the height of the buildings to my advantage while my opponent had to come near me. I guess because of the strategy (and that the dice weren't such arseholes this time) I used I managed to kill four of his mechs, but we had to go so we decided that my units bought enough time so that my faction could flee with all it's remaining members.
A pesar de perder casi todas las batallas, me encantó la campaña y aprendí mucho para la próxima que juguemos (Como no sobreestimas y llevar sola una unidad por fuerte que sea).
Even if I lost most of the battles, I loved the campaign and learned a lot for the next one we play (like not overestimating a unit and going solo with it just because it's strong).
Este Martes también aproveché para enseñarle el juego a una persona que conocí en La Fortaleza así que llevé mis unidades de Battletech para probarlas.
This Thursday I did a game to teach the game to a person I met on La Fortaleza so I took my Btech units to test them.
Los dados como siempre me detestaron y diría que esta vez fueron el factor mas importante para que perdiera, pero con la partida ya vi que estas unidades son mucho mas divertidas y fuertes que las de la campaña, mis Crucis Lancers serán extremadamente mas útiles.
As always dice betrayed me and I would say this time it was the biggest factor on my defeat, but in the game I saw how fun this units are and stronger than the campaign ones, my Crucis Lancers will be extremely more useful.
La partida transcurrió de una manera bastante normal, un poco lenta al estar enseñando claro, pero creo que el juego gustó.
Game went normal, a bit slow-ish since I was teaching but I think he liked the game.
Al final solo acabé con una de sus unidades pero la partida fue entretenida, espero que pueda jugar en el futuro con el mas partidas y que los mechs de Btech convertidos funcionen bien en la próxima campaña.
In the end I only finished one of his units but the game was fun, I hope I can play with him more times on the future and that the Btech converted mechs will function well on the next campaign.
Los Crucis Lancers aún no los acabé de pintar y deberían tener refuerzos dentro de un tiempo, así que ya iré subiéndolos poco a poco.
The Crucis Lancers aren't finished yet and they should have reinforcementes soon, so I'll be uploading them little by little.
