Caza al atardecer

Una bestia vaga por el bosque, el rey del lugar sin duda, ningún animal puede hacerle frente hasta que ciertos seres quieren acabar con ella.

A beast wanders the forest, the king of the place no doubt, no animal can make front to him until foreigners come for him.

Unos, para librar su bosque de bestias crueles que acaban con el ecosistema y sus animales. Otros, por fama y gloria, algunos otros solo pasan por el lugar y lo inundan de su furia y odio.

Some, to rid their forest of cruel beast that feast on animals. Others, for fame and glory, and others just roam around killing and infusing it with hate.

Sea cual sea el motivo, es posible que pronto acabe la vida de la bestia. Al atardecer los tres bandos cercaban la susodicha en el bosque.

Whatever the motive, the last moment might be on the horizon for the beast. At twilight, the three enemies were flanking it on the forest.

Al sur una banda de Uruk-Hais, malvados con intención de acabar con todo en el bosque. Al este los humanos liderados por sir Guillaume, en busca de fama y oro. Al norte los Sidhe, protegiendo su territorio y en el centro el hombre lobo, junto al pantano.

To the south, a marauding band of Uruk-hai, evil and with the intention to finish anything alive on the forest. To the east, humans with Sir Guillaume at front in search of fame and gold. To the north the Sidhe, protecting their territory and in the middle the werewolf, near the swamp.

Al acercarse los Uruk-Hais abrieron fuego con sus arcos violentamente sobre los humanos fallando por su prisa a atacar a otros. Cuando estos lo vieron devolvieron la andanada, mas certera que la suya acabaron con uno de los arqueros. Los Sidhe, al ver la refriega aprovecharon para irse acercando lentamente a la bestia.

When the Uruk-Hais closed in opened fire violently towards the humans, failing for their eagerness to attacke. The vollay came back not missing it's target, killing one of the archers. The Sidhe, seeing this fight made way towards the beast.

El otro ballestero humano subió a la colina y los vio y aprovecho para lanzar su primer virote tumbando a uno de los protectores del bosque pero le devolvieron la jugada acabando con uno de sus compañeros en el camino.

The other human crosbowmen run up the hill and saw them, charged the crossbow and shot it's first bolt knocking down one of the forest protectores but they sent one arrow back finishing one of it's brothers.

Su atención a los protectores del bosque poco le duró ya que sus compañeros de viaje se encontraron con los Uruks y comenzó un combate brutal a dos bandas totalmente caótico:

It's attention to them lasted little since his companions were already fighting the Uruks and a brutal two way combat started:

Pronto la sangre bañó el empedrado del camino pero al contrario de lo que se esperaba, no fue el de los humanos sino el de las bestias inhumanas, perdiendo a su líder y a dos de sus compañeros incluído el otro arquero no sin que antes el último acabara con uno de los ballesteros.

Soon the blood bathed the pavimented road but weirdly, wasn't the humans but the beasts, losing their leader and two of their companions, last archer included but just after he finished one of the crossbowmen.

Aprovechando las distracciones los Sidhe llegaron a la bestia y entablaron combate aprovechando la maldición que su líder le echo encima. Su arquero fallo el disparo, rozando a su compañero en combate pero estaban determinados a acabar con ella y huir del lugar para evitar el combate.

Taking notice of this the Sidhe came to the beast and started the combat thanks to the curse their leader put on it. Their archer missed, arrow close to it's friend but they were too determined to finish the beast and flee the place to not engage in combat.

En estos momentos el ballestero humano trató de acabar con uno de ellos pero no le dió tiempo, ya que en ese instante acabaron con la bestia, permitiendo les irse de la zona orgullosos de  acabar con el mal de su bosque.

At this instant the crossbowman tried to kill one of them but didn't make it on time, since they finished the beast and started retreating, pride of getting rid of the evil in the forest.

Los Uruks viendo que su líder cayó en combate aprovecharon para huír mientras sus contrincantes humanos celebraban la muerte de este.

The Uruks, seeing their leader dead on the ground decided to flee while the humans were celebrating the kill.

La noche cayó, con el bosque embadurnado de violencia y sangre. Quizá sea lo mejor, quizá no, es solo otro capítulo sangriento del mundo...

Night fell upon the woods wich were bathed in violence and blood. Maybe for the best, maybe not, it's just another bloody chapter of this world...



Fue una partida algo corta, creo que duró unos cuatro turnos como mucho (y creo que fueron mas bien tres pero no estoy seguro). Por el despliegue era evidente que mis Uruks iban chocar con los humanos y no ayudó que lance la primera flecha. Pensé que quizá a puntos por baja se podría ganar al que acabara con la bestia, pero a 2 puntos por soldado mas cinco por líder es casi imposible; deberían valer mas en mi opinión cada muerte.

It was a short game, I think it was four turns long at most (and I think it was three but I'm not sure). Because of the deployment I know my Uruks would fight the humans soon and it didn't help sending the first arrow. I thought I could win by kills even if I didn't kill the beast but at 2 points per kill and 5 for a leader, it's almost imposible, they should be worth more so it's an option.

Una partida entretenida, espero jugar mas partidas pronto, de hecho quizá juegue al Señor de los Anillos directamente con este sistema haciendo un par de cambios.

A fun battle, I want to play more games soon, maybe I'll use it directly for Lord of the Rings with some changes.
