Hello guys!
Al fin terminé los soldados de Diamond Dogs, que también voy considerar el ejército como Outer Heaven, y os los traigo.
At last I finished the Diamond Dogs soldiers and Im considering the army Outer Heaven at the same time (MGS stuff).
Los pinte en un simple color verde ruso porque hay muchas tropas que fueron a los países árabes en aquellos tiempos que como no tenían camuflaje preparado para el terreno iban en el típico verde que usan en su territorio así que me decidí por esa opción (y además causa mas contraste con el tablero). Los humvees aún no tengo claro que color darles aunque seguramente sea un woodland porque los camuflajes de desierto en vehículos nunca me convenció mucho pero aun estoy pensando.
I've painted 'em in a simple russian drab because there were lots of troops that went to arab countries in that times with simple green drabs because they didn't have desert camo so I decided for that option (also makes more contrast with the table). The humvees I'm still deciding the color although I will probably choose a woodland camo because I dislike the desert camo on vehicles but I'm thinking on it.

Estos son los tres M-72 LAW y tres soldados a punto de lanzar una granada con rifles. Estoy pensando si pintar de gris las granadas con alguna línea de color para que representen granadas de humo (por la temática de no ser letal del Metal Gear):
These are the three M-72 LAW and three soldiers just about to throw a grenade. I'm thinking on painting gray the grenades so they represent smoke grenades (because of MGS non lethal thematic):
Estos son los soldados con ametralladora (curiosamente son 12 de los 24, considerando que con los rifles con granadas en la mano siguen siendo 4 mas que los soldados normales, se pasaron un poco con el equilibrio, nunca se llevan tantas ametralladoras en las unidades):
These ones are machine-gunners (it's funny that 12 out of 24 are machine-gunners, considering the nade launching soldiers there are 4 more that rifleman, they went out of hand with them, units never have so much machine-guns):
La verdad me gusta como han quedado y eso que solo los hice con calidad ejército, dan el pego y tienen suficiente calidad. Aparte de hacerlos a ellos cogí una caja que compré para un proyecto antiguo y la usé para poder transportarlos a ellos:
I'm loving how they are even more so when I painted them on army quality, they look the part and have enough quality. I also took an old box I bought for another old proyect and used it for transporting them:
No caben todos si quiero llevar a los francotiradores, Snake y Gray Fox pero con dejar algún soldado con ametralladora ya está porque siguen siendo demasiados y así dejo sitio para los tres personajes especiales que espero poder hacer en 3D aunque es un problema porque no me está contestando el diseñador pero bueno tarde o temprano contestará.
Not every mini can be storaged on it if I want to have the snipers, Snake and Grey fox but I leave some machine-gunner and that's it and this way I leave room for the three special characters I'm trying to get commisioned to my 3D designer friend although he's not answering yet.

Le puse tres pegatinas y ya está. El maletín salió de una replica 1/6 de una AK-47 con la que no llegué a nada al final. Tengo que decir también que compré cartón corrugado para hacer algunos elementos de escenografía que se me han ocurrido y que ya iré posteando al tiempo que los haga y encontré una página que vende containers a escala 1/100 en vez de HO (la de trenes) que es ligeramente mas apropiada y barata ya que es un robo lo de las miniaturas de tren, eso de 10€ por un solo container de 8cm mas o menos o 14€ por uno de 16cm me parece un robo a mano armada. En esta página los venden sin pintar a 2.20 o a 3 los ya pintados lo cual me parece bien (y de hecho los largos son a 4€ pintados que solo los hay así). Siempre me gustaron los containers como escenografía no preguntéis porqué porque no lo se la verdad y ahora con el tema MGSV pegan mucho mas aún.
I put there some stickers and that's it. The carrying case is from a 1/6 AK-47 that I never painted. I have to say I bought some corrugated cardboard to make some terrain I thought in and I'll be posting them when I make them and also found a web that sells shipping containers in 1/100 scale instead of the 1/87 HO (from train modelling) that is much more suitable for 15mm and also cheaper, it's a fucking robbery the train modelism the 20' container is 10€ and the 40' is 14€. In this web I found the 20' for 2.20€ if it's unpainted and 3€ for a painted one and the 40' are 4€ (only painted, there's no unpainted option). I've always loved the containers for terrain, dunno why and with the MGSV thematic is much more appropiate.
Pero bueno de momento no los voy coger, voy hacer escenografía casera un poco rápida para que podamos probar el juego (de hecho ni voy repintar el tablero aun, esperaré un poco) así que espero tener pronto algunos elementos para hacer un tablero interesante.
I'm not getting them yet I'm thinkin on homemade terrain a bit fast so I can test the game (in fact I'm not repainting the board yet) so I hope I can make some elements for a interesting table.
En fin, eso es todo por hoy chicos, esto ya es un post mas decente como los de antes o eso creo. Veo que no comenta ni cristo y es una pena, me ayudaría a traer mejor contenido y a ver mas mis fallos pero bueno, no me quejo, esto lo hago por hobby no por otra cosa y como recordatorio de que hice en el pasado y como.
That's all for today guys, this is a more decent post like past times or at least I think so. I see that no one comments and it's a shame, it would help me bring better content and see more my mistakes but I don't complain, this blog is for hobby, reference and for making an archive of what I made on the past and how.
