Ataque en Expo City

¡Hey! Cuanto tiempo sin vernos.

So I've been keeping with my jet project. I managed someone to make me Ace Combat 3 planes on a small scale to play at home some campaigns, and painted some of them. Im trying to test Pz8 Jet Age rules. It's a free 2 page ruleset that I think can be upgraded to be a good, simple system for merc campaigns.

Pues he intentado seguir mi proyecto sobre jets. Conseguí que alguien me haga modelos de Ace Combat 3 en escala pequeña para jugar campañas en casa, y pinté algunos de ellos. Estoy probando las reglas de Pz8 para época de jets. Es un set gratuito de 2 páginas que creo que puede ser mejorado para ser un buen y simple sistema para campañas de mercenarios.

I tested the game tonight and tried a simple dogfight scenario. It was about 5 turns long (cut it short because I thought it made sense).

Probé el juego esta noche y probé un simple escenario de un encuentro. Duró unos 5 turnos (lo cerré antes de acabar un bando destruido ya que lo consideré apropiado).

(Blue dice is height, red die is damage and green die is remaining load. The F-16 Gyrfalcons carry 4 RH missiles, the R-101 Delphinus I carry 2 IR missiles).

(Dados azules son la altura, los rojos el daño y el verde la carga de armamento restante. Los F-16 Gyrfalcons llevan 4 misiles RH, los R-101 Delphinus I llevan 2 misiles IR).

Attention!: General Resource units have entered Expo City at 2:00 AM, breaking the no-fly military zone. They are flying low to evade radars. Phin squadron, head out and repel the enemy units!

¡Atención!: Unidades de General Resource han entrado en Expo City sobre las 2:00 AM, rompiendo el tratado sobre vuelos militares limitados en la zona. Vuelan bajo para evadir los radares. ¡Escuadrón Phin, salid y repeled las unidades enemigas!

Neucom's squadron divided and went in different heights to separate their enemies. One Gyrfalcon fell for this and went straight up and sent two missiles, ripple firing. The R-101 managed to lose them with flares. The other F-16 followed suit and went up to get to the target. As this happened the other R-101 started a maneuver from below to try and get the targets from a better position.

El escuadrón de Neucom se dividió y voló a diferentes alturas para separar a sus enemigos. Un Gyrfalcon pareció caer en el truco y subió su altura y lanzó dos misiles. Estos fallaron el blanco debido a las bengalas. El otro F-16 le siguió y se alzó en altura para cazar al mismo objetivo. Mientras esto ocurría el otro R-101 comenzó una maniobra desde debajo para tratar de coger a los objetivos desde una posición mejor.

The fist R-101 made a big slip to it's right and dove almost to the deck. His squadmate with clever maneuvers got to the back of one of the F-16's and opened fire but missed wide.  That same plane tried a power climb and turn to escape its tailing craft. The other GR plane kept near the deck to get to the maneuvering R-101 but since it was going sideways and fast the machine gun attack failed.

El primer R-101 hizo un sideslip a su derecha y bajó casi hasta los techos de los edificios. Su compañero se coló tras uno de los F-16 con maniobras astutas y abrió fuego pero en su prisa falló. Ese mismo objetivo hizo un power climb y giró para tratar de huir de su perseguidor. El otro avión de GR se mantuvo cerca del suelo para coger al escurridizo R-101 y le atacó pero al estar en medio del sideslip las balas se perdieron en el cielo.

The jet powered it's afterburners and got to a good position and fired on the Gyrfalcon. Fox two! Due to the low height  the IR missile completely missed the target and in the time the R-101 took to miss the Gyrfalcon shot one as a response but also missed. The high interference from ECM's and Upeos anti-lock on measures helped those missiles fail.  The other R-101 got a chance to fire again at his target with the guns but missed again. The Gyrfalcon turned and discovered it was too close to use his radar homing weapons.

El jet encendió sus postcombustores y consiguió una buena posición desde la que disparó un misil al Gyrfalcon. Fox dos! Debido a la baja altitud el misil IR falló por completo el objetivo y en el tiempo que le llevó el F-16 velozmente viró y se la devolvió, pero este misil también falló. Las interferencias de ECM y las medidas anti-lock de UPEO no ayudan al combate. El otro R-101 siguió tratando de acabar con su enemigo con la ametralladora pero de nuevo sus trazadoras solo iluminaron el cierlo. El Gyrfalcon cambió el rumbo y descubrió que estaba demasiado cerca para usar sus misiles por radar.

This put him in front and top of the other R-101. Now it was in front of both, but one had to climb and the other had to turn quickly. The second Gyrfalcon had a good chance to hit the climbing R-101 and managed to hit it with it's guns. The trapped F-16 saw this and took the oportunity and dove for the climbing R-101. It opened with guns and absolutly destroyed the climbing R-101. It vaporized on those big machine gun bullets. The remaining R-101 saw this on radar and changed course to fall back to base to at least save itself.

Esto le pusó enfrente y encima del otro R-101. Ahora se encontraba en frente de ambos, pero uno tenía que conseguir altura y el otro virar rápido. Al ver esto, su compañero maniobró y disparo a el R-101 mientras se alzaba y le dió con su ametralladora. Viendo esto, el F-16 atrapado utilizó la oportunidad y cayó en picado contra el objetivo. Abrió fuego y sus cañones despedazaron el R-101 que se alzaba en pequeños trozos. El R-101 restante al ver a su compañero despedazado en el radar aprovechó la altura para volver a base y al menos salvarse el.

Neucom's squad member mumbled some complaints while he fled the combat thanks to the powerful engines and nimbleness of his craft. As a response, the Gyrfalcons regrouped and formed. They kept their low flight in the dark night skies searching for their unknown objective. Who knows if this actions will escalate tensions between this two competing companies.

El miembro de Neucom masculló maldiciones mientras huía del combate gracias a sus potentes motores y bajo peso. Como respuesta, los Gyrfalcon se reagruparon y formaron. Siguieron su vuelo bajo por los cielos nocturnos oscuros de la ciudad, en pos de su misterioso objetivo. Quién sabe si estas acciones escalarán las tensiones entre ambas compañias.

Anima Tactics: Encuentro al anochecer

 En una tarde fría en la provincia de Dalaborn, en una ciudad perdida en las frías cumbres de las montañas del noroeste, se encontraban nuestros protagonistas.

It was a cold evening in the province of Dalaborn, a city lost in the freezing peaks of the northwest, our characters walking there.

Dark Chesyre iba tras Ayl, ensimismado en su belleza, pensando en que decirle a la bella mujer para convencerla de que le haga caso. Pero ella, imperturbable, caminaba pensando en su vida por las frías calles cuando, súbitamente, sintió la presencia de humanos. Siendo precavida, avisó a Chesyre.

Dark Chesyre was after Ayl, charmed by her beauty, thinking on what to say to the women to gain her attention. She, lost on her thoughts while walking the cold streets noticed the presence of humans. She told Chesyre, being cautious about it.

Se acercaron con cuidado a la plaza en ruinas, donde vieron de quienes procedía la presencia. Una Santa con sus ropajes eclesiásticos danzaba felizmente por el lugar, seguida de un hombre de pelo blanco con unos ropajes púrpuras.

They closed the gap to the ruined plaza, where they saw the culprits. A Saint, with her characteristic eclesiastical robes danced over there,  followed by a white haired man clad in a purple cloak.

Este, inmediatamente al entrar en la plaza, debió también sentir a la pareja, ya que le dijo algo a la Santa y ella se escondió tras el.

He, inmediatly after entering the plaza, must've felt the pair too, since he told something to the Saint and she hide behind him

No serviría de nada ocultarse, estaba claro que era el famoso Inquisidor Azrael, y no iba dejarles pasar. Ambos grupos se miraron frente a frente en la plaza, y la contienda comenzó. Chesyre, encantado de demostrar sus habilidades se adelantó en dirección a Azrael mientras que Ayl trataba de distraer al Inquisidor con su descarga oscura.

Hiding would be futile, it was clear as day he was the famous Inquisitor Azrael, and he wouldn't let them pass. Both groups look at each other, and the skirmish began. Chesyre, eager to show his prowess to her went ahead to fight him while she tried to distract Azrael with her dark beam.

Como la Santa parecía protegerlo, Chesyre cambió de rumbo para ir mas protegido por el muro y llegar al flanco mientras que Ayl se quedó a distancia cercana para apoyarlo. Rápidamente llegaron el Inquisidor y Chesyre al combate, intercambiando mandoblazos a diestro y siniestro.

As the Saint seemed to protect him, Chesyre changed route to get his flank through the wall and Ayl kept her distance close to support him. He close the gap fast and they traded blows.

A pesar de los golpes que recibía el Inquisidor, la energía fluía por el y le desaparecían las heridas, sin duda debido a la Santa que le estaba curando a salvo. La situación empeoró y con un sendo golpe, Chesyre quedó tumbado en el suelo, incapaz de moverse.

Even though he sustained damage, it seemed to revert back, energy stremead outwards from his body and wounds healed, no doubt due to the Saint healing him.The situation got worse and with a striking blow Chesyre went knocked out to the ground, incapable of moving.

Ayl pensaba muy rápido ¿cual era el mejor método de actuación? El Inquisidor parecía reticente a acercarse, quizá por no saber que capacidades tenía, o quizá para usar a Chesyre como cebo. Fuera cual fuese, Ayl decidió retroceder y tratar de acabar con el con descargas oscuras, pero Azrael se quedó a cubierto en el muro y los pocos daños que sufría, Astraega se los revertía.

Ayl though fast, what was the best course of action? The Inquisitor seemed reticent to get close, maybe he didn't know her capabilities, or to use Chesyre as bait. Whichever it was, Ayl went back and tried to get him with dark beams, but he got into cover and the few injuries he sustained, Astraega healed fast.

La Shinigami pasó al ataque. Con un rápido movimiento flanqueo a Azrael, que por la sorpresa no tuvo tiempo a reaccionar y ella lo aprovecho para lanzar una descarga a la Santa que la sacó de la plaza de la potencia de la descarga mágica.

The Shinigami went on the attack. With a fast advance she flanked Azrael, who with the surprise couldn't react and she used this time to send a dark beam to the Saint wich went flying out of the plaza because of the immense power of the blast.

Esta táctica no duraría ya que Azrael rápido como un rayo se lanzó y la pilló desprevenida y de un par de sendos ataques la mandó rodando por el suelo.

But this tactic wouldn't work for long as Azrael charged like lighting and got her before she could defend herself and the sword wings sent her tumbling on the ground.

Suerte la suya, que cayó cerca de su pareja, y con sus últimas energías recogió al ebudan y escapó del pueblo por los tejados.

Lucky her she ended up close to her partner, and with her last stamina got the ebudan and fled the town through the roofs.

Azrael estuvo a punto de perseguirla, pero su misión era mas importante. Debían encontrar al sabio del pueblo y que Astraega lo convenciera para volver a su convento así que resignado, cogió la poción y caminó hacia la Santa Astraega para volverla a poner sobre sus pies. Este no sería el día de los miembros de Samael...

Azrael was about to follow her, but his mission was more important. They must find the sage of the town and get Astraega to convince him to get back to his church so, dissapointed, he got his potion and walked towards Saint Astraega to get her back on her feet. This wouldn't be the day of Samael's members...

Pues, por fin me he animado a probar el juego del cual tengo un personaje en la cabecera del blog, ya iba siendo hora. Me parece un juego extremadamente bueno la verdad, es una pena que ya no se comercialice, por que además las figuras (no todas) son magníficas. Me voy hacer con unas cuantas de la iglesia por suerte en breve, y quizá algunas de Samael. Son mis facciones favoritas. 

Finally, after many years I got to try the game of which my banner has a character of, it was about time. To me it's an extremely good game to be honest, a shame it's no longer on sale, because minis (not all) are amazing. I'm gonna get a few of the church soon, and maybe some Samael ones. They are my favorite factions.

También he modificado un par de cartas e imprimiré personajes de cierto juego que puede pasar por miembros de Anima, ademas de diseñar en HeroForge algún personaje que no salió a la venta. Por suerte alguien cercano juega conmigo, así que espero de vez en cuando hacer reportes, esperad mas reportes con el tiempo.

Also, I've modified a pair of cards and will print characters from a certain game which can pass as Anima characters, besides making a character that never saw the light of the day on HeroForge. Luckily, someone close playis with me, so I hope I can make some AARs, wait for more on the future.

Fabula: Viejos recuerdos

Tras horas viajando, Vasile buscó un lugar en el que poder pasar el día. Al buscar por la zona vio los restos de una pequeña casa en ruinas. Aun tenía un techo que aun cubría del sol. Se aposento en ella y encendió el fuego.

After traveling for hours, Vasile looked for a place to rest for the day. When looking around, he found the small remnants of a house. It still had a roof to cover from the sun. He went inside and light a fire.

Como suele pasar en ocasiones como esta, tras perder mucho y poder descansar, el vampiro se puso a rememorar. Recordó epocas en las que se encontraba mas poderoso, y estaba aliado a otros clanes y casas vampíricas.

Like it usually happens in this kind of situations, after losing much and being able to rest, he started to remember. He remembered times when he was powerful, and was allied to other vampiric clans and houses.

Pensó en una ocasión en la que acudió en ayuda del Clan Razielim, al cual unos humanos atacaron por sorpresa con la intención de destruir uno de sus mausoleos. Probablemente por que este se encontraba en una villa bastante poblada y que, a causa de ellos, vivía aterrorizada.

He thought of an ocasion when he helped Clan Razielim, which was under a raid from some humans with the intention to demolish one of their mausoleums. Probably because it was on a populated village that lived with fear because of them.

Era una noche muy oscura, con sonidos de cigarras y viento. La ciudad estaba tranquila, los humanos avanzaban por el norte hacia el mausoleo con sus explosivos. Vasile y Raziel, con sus acompañantes, avanzaban por el sur, aprovechando las zonas mas oscuras.

It was a really dark night, with wind and cicada sounds. The village was silent, humans advancing from the north towards the mausoleum with their explosives. Vasile and Raziel with their cohorts, advanced from the cover of darkness from the south.

Los humanos al verlos entraron en pavor y forzaron la marcha. Con el ruido que causaron Selfas pudo detectar a uno y clavarle una flecha en el hombro. Shevara al oler la sangre se apresuro, jadeando de impaciencia. 

When the humans saw them were startled and marched faster. With their noise Selfas could see one and strike him with an arrow in the shoulder. Shevare smelled the blood and went fast, shrieking from impatience.

Por el otro lado la bestia Grigori avanzaba pesadamente con Irina al lado, la cual sonrieia maliciosamente. Vasili aprovechó el momento para avanzar en su forma de murciélagos.

In the other side the beast Grigori advanced heavily with Irina at his side, she smiled malevolantly. Vasili used this time to advance as a bat.

Cuando Shevara se asomó para ver la situación, un humano salió tras la esquina y se enzarzó en combate. Shevara aguantaba pero por detrás el Capitán avanzaba hacia ellos.

When Shevara looked in the corner to assess the situation, a human came out trying to get her. Shevara managed to fight with him but the human Captain advanced towards them.

En el otro lado, el lobo de Vasili avanzo y lucho con un caballero humano, saliendo muy malherido y teniendo que retroceder. Grigori se embatió con el caballero y lo aplastó sin un miramiento, cayendo así el barril de pólvora al suelo. Un tirador, oculto en las ruinas cercanas, trató de hacerlo estallar de un disparo, pero falló.

In the other side, Vasili's wolf went ahead and fought a human knight, got out really wounded and had to retreat. Grigori fought the knight and bested him whitout a second thought, the poweder keg falling to the ground. A shooter, hidden in nearby ruins, tried to make the barrel explode but missed.

El capitán consiguió llegar a la vampiresa y cuando Raziel la vió defenderse de dos sucios humanos trató de apretar el paso pero por desgracia llegó tarde. Entró en una furia horrible y acometió contra los humanos, luchando enzarzadamente con ellos.

The captain managed to get to the vampiress and when Raziel saw her on the defensive against two filthy humans, tried to hasten towards there but sadly got there too late. He was furious and charged the humans, fighting fiercely both of them.

Ruram y Selfas aprovecharon mientras tanto de ocuparse de los otros humanos, los que portaban los barriles. A pesar de acertar dos flechas, uno de ellos coloco el barril y lo encendió. Salió huyendo pero el lobo le saltó del lateral del mausoleo acabando con el.

Ruram and Selfas tried to get the other humans with powderkegs. Even though he got two arrows in one, one managed to put his barrel and light it up. He tried to get out but the wolf came out the shadows of the mausoleum and mauled him.

Un pequeño asesino humano consiguió evadir a todos los vampiros y colocó su carga, sin oposición. El último de los portadores llego a colocarlo y encenderlo justo cuando Ruram conseguía al fin combatir con el. Vasili en el otro extremo se enfrentaba junto a Grigori contra el tirador humano el cual seguía tratando de explotar el barril y, finalmente, acertando en el.

A small human assassin managed to evade all vampires and put off him charge on one of the corners, without opposition. The last of the porters managed to put it and light it just before Ruram got to him. Vasili was fighting along Grigori with the human shooter which was still trying to explode the barrel, and finally, by pure luck, exploding it.

Súbitamente todas las cargas explotaron. Ruram aguantó la explosión, pero el humano con el que luchaba desapareció en miles de trozos que se desperdigaron por los aires. Grigori protegio a Vasili y a su ama con su gigantesca ala, la cual quedo abrasada y en piel viva, con quemaduras extremadamente graves.

Suddenly all charges exploded. Ruram, even though just by the side of one, managed to live through the immense explosion but the human he was fighting dissapeared in a rain of blood and guts. Grigori protected both Vasili and Irina from the explosion with his huge wing, getting burned to smolders in the proccess.

El área se llenó de humo. Cuando se dispersó, pudieron ver como el mausoleo había colapsado encima del subterráneo por la explosión. aprovechando que todos estaban anonadados, los humanos restantes, malheridos, huyeron. 

The area filled with smoke. When it dispersed, they could see the mausoleum collapsed in the subterraneum. The humans fled the scene while the vampires were stunned, all of them wounded because of the multiple fights.

Los vampiros se juntaron, apesadumbrados por la pérdida de un puesto que tenían en una ciudad importante. Sin decir palabra, Raziel recogió el cuerpo de Shevara. Se fueron sin hacer un sonido, a retirarse a otro puesto mientras ella se recuperaba...

The vampires got together, saddened for the loss of a post they had in an important city. Without muttering a word, Raziel got Shevara's body. They were gone without making a sound, to another post while she rested...

Vasili sonrió. No era la primera vez que cometía un error, ni que perdía. El recuerdo de esa vez en la que perdió el favor del Clan Razielim le hizo pensar en lo fácil que es perder tanto, en tan poco tiempo. Lo mas importante, es recuperarse. Y lo volvería a hacer, siempre se recuperó de los malos tiempos. Después de todo, tenía toda la eternidad para ello...

Vasili smiled. The forest wasn't the first time he made an error, nor losed. This memory in which he lost the favor of Clan Razielim made him think in how easy is to lose so much, in so little. The most important was to recover... And he would do it again, he always recovered from bad times. After all, he had all eternity to do so...

Fabula: El misterio de Farengar

Tras su derrota ante los caballeros del viejo reino, Vasile se retiró a su mausoleo a cavilar. Desde hace unos meses, no paran de entrar mortales en el bosque. Trae como ventaja mas víctimas y sangre fresca, pero también atrae inquisidores ansiosos de acabar con la magia del bosque, cazafortunas y aventureros con ganas de ganarse un nombre. Todos ellos limitan su influencia y movimiento, algo que es molesto para sus ambiciones.

After his defeat by the old realm's knights, Vasile retired to his mausoleum to meditate. From a few months back, there's no stop to mortals coming into the forest. This is good since they are new victims with fresh blood, but it also attracts inquisitors anxious to end the magic of the forest, mercenaries and adventures eager to get a name for themselves.

Vasile invocó familiares y los envió en busca de aliados. Días después, Irina apareció con Grigori, el barghest maldito, por el mausoleo. Tras ayudar a recuperarse a Vasile, ambos pusieron sus esfuerzos en encontrar cual es la maldición del bosque.

Vasile summoned his familiars and sent them to search for allies. Days after, Irina came with Grigory, the cursed barghest, to the mausoleum. After helping Vasile recover, both put their efforts in finding the source of the forest's curse. 

Una jornada de esfuerzo después, encontraron un rastro mágico en dirección a lo profundo del bosque. Comenzaron la búsqueda siguiendo el rastro. La luz tampoco aparece en el bosque, probablemente debido a una magia muy poderosa pero por fortuna eso les favorecía, dejándolos marchar de día también.

After a day's work, they found a magical trail that went towards the deepest part of the forest. They started following the trail. Light didn't come to the forest either, wich helped them march on daytime too.

Al llegar a un claro, se encontraron con dos mortales; un elfo y un humano. Al encontrarse hubo un ambiente hostil pero Vasili, harto de luchar, decidió dar un paso al frente con las armas enfundadas. Trato de dialogar con los mortales y gracias a su enorme carisma consiguió hacer una tregua temporal ya que ambos bandos querían lo mismo, poder salir del bosque.

They reached a glade in which they found two mortals: an elf and a human. There was a very hostile aura there but Vasile, tired of fights, decided to step forward, with no weapons. He tried to talk with them and thanks to his charisma, he made a deal to strike a truce until they found a solution since both sides wanted the same, to get out.

Con los nuevos aliados pudieron focalizar mas la búsqueda. El humano tenía conocimientos arcanos a diferencia de ellos. Les dirigió cada vez a la parte mas oscura del bosque. Fuegos fatuos y espíritus abundan por estos lares pero gallardamente siguieron sin vacilar.

With new allies by their side, they could focus the search. The human had arcane knowledge while they didn't. He lead them to the darkest part of the forest. Ignis fatuus and spirits lay abound here but valiantly they went on.

Una vez se encontraron cerca, el mago detectó cuatro fuentes, tres pequeñas y una primaria muy grande. Alrededor pudieron también sentir seres sobrenaturales. Poco a poco se acercaron a la zona y vieron que allí un cuarteto de diablillas de Slaneesh vigilaba los focos. También por el área abundaban espíritus de mortales que cayeron en combate.

Once nearby, the mage detected four sources, three small and one big primary. They could also feel unnatural creatures there. Bit by bit they closed the distance and saw a quartet of Slanesh's daemonettes wich guarded the cores. The area was also surrounded by spirits of mortals that fell on battle over here.

Se acercaron discretamente pero el barghest, como bestia que es, al verlas rugió y gritó. Se alarmaron tanto ellas como a las apariciones fantasmagóricas. Las diablillas se colocaron para proteger cada una de las fuentes de poder y la más grande, Soberbia, salió en encuentro de los aventureros.

Discretely they closed the distance but the barghest, as the beast it is, growled and screeched when it saw the daemonettes. They were alerted both daemonettes and spirits. They went to each core to protect it and the biggest, Pride, went after the adventurers.

Vasile se convirtió en murciélagos y avanzó velozmente a uno de los focos. Allí, Lujuria, le esperaba. Se enzarzaron en combate en la colina y apenas pudo resistir los embates de esta. El elfo acudió en su ayuda consiguieron batirla entre los dos. Mientras el elfo se encaminó a otra parte de la escaramuza, el vampiro inspeccionó la roca que emanaba energía.

Vasile transformed into bats and quickly went to one of the sources on a hill. There, Lust was waiting for him. They battled on the hill and he almost couldn't defend himself. The elf came to the rescue and bested her together. The elf went to other part of the glade while the vampire inspected the magic rock.

Mientras esto ocurría, Irina y Sergei luchaban para defenderse de los espectros, el mago ídem con Soberbia. A pesar de que lo vieron indefenso, los espectros eran insistentes y duros, por cada uno que caía otro salia del pantano maldito.

Meanwhile, Irina and Sergei fought to defend themselves from the specters, the mage doing the same with Pride. Although he was defenceless, the specters were tough and insistent, for each that fell, other took it's place.

Finalmente pudo soportar los avances y Soberbia acabó de un corte con él, una profunda carcajada horrible saliendo de su garganta. Al matarlo, decidió avanzar a por Vasile ya que tanto Sergei como Irina cayeron ante los espectros.

He couldn't keep it going and Pride finished him in a brutal slash, a deep cackle coming from her throat. When she killed him, went immediatly for Vasile since Sergei and Irina also fell to the specters.

Un espectro dio caza a Pereza, ya que siendo los espíritus vengativos de viejos guerreros solo deseaban matar y derramar sangre. Vasile finalmente descubrió que la fuente resultó ser una roca bruja. 

A specter hunt Sloth, since being vengative ghosts of old warriors they wanted to kill and spill blood, independently of whom. Finally, Vasile discovered that the source was a witch's stone.

Se arriesgó y logró desactivarla, quitando energía mágica del foco central. Percatándose de esto, y viendo que sus aliados caían, se apresuró a llegar al foco central. Paso por el lateral del elfo que estaba enzarzado con un espectro y no pudo mas que limitarse a ver como perecía contra el espíritu enloquecido.

He risked it and managed to deactivate it, diminishing energy from the main core. Seeing this, and that his allies were dwindling, he quickly went to the center source. He passed the elf, wich was fighting a spected and could only see how it perished to the mad spirit.

Al fin estaba cerca, el bosque se distorsionaba del poder mágico. Un zumbido se escuchaba por todo el área, la energía incluso era molesta al cuerpo, pero Vasile no reculó. Se acercó a la fuente, que resultó ser un orbe con luz profunda verde, oscuro como la noche y profundo como el cielo, del tamaño de una cabeza.

At last he was close, the forest distorted by the magical power. A buzz could be heard over the area, the energy even bothering the living, but Vasile didn't cower. He closed in, and it was an orb, the size of a head, deep as the sky and black as the night, with a bright green light inside spiralling inside.

Lo agarró, las diablillas cercando ya al vampiro. El orbe trataba de acabar con él, su cuerpo  sufría y se resentía bajo los efectos de la magia arcana, pero su voluntad de hierro finalmente pudo con el orbe.

He grabbed it, daemonettes encircling him. The orb tried to destroy him, his body suffering and hurt because of the effects of the arcane magic, but his ferrous will finally got the best of the orb.

Una explosión de energía salió del orbe, ondas mágicas volando por el bosque zarandeando las ramas de los árboles incluso partiendo algunas. Todo el bosque tembló, un olor acre llenó el claro. Las diablillas, horrorizadas escaparon por un portal convocado por Soberbia.

A big energy explosion came out of the orb, magic waves flying over the forest waving the branches, breaking some. The entire forest trembled, an acrid smell filling the glades. The daemonettes, horrified fled into a portal summoned by Pride.

Tras unos minutos el bosque se calmó. El techo del bosque se abrió, como si la cantidad de árboles disminuyera y la luna iluminó el claro. El vampiro miró a su alrededor y observó como el bosque cambiaba de forma, pareciendo encoger y volverse menos profundo.

Moments after the forest went silent. The tree canopy opened up, letting the moon appear and light the opening. The vampire look around and saw the forest change shape, it seemed to get smaller and less dense.

Por fin los mortales dejarían el bosque y mausoleo en paz, pero poco consuelo era para el vampiro. Perdió sus súbditos y su mejor concubina, además de la criatura más fuerte de su casa. Pero así es la vida, con vicisitudes y dificultades. 

Finally the mortals would leave the forest and mausoleum in peace, but little price it was to him. He lost his vassals and his best concubine, besides the strongest creature of his house. But that's life, with it's challenges and difficulties.

Vasile ahora se encaminó a un nuevo futuro, un nuevo destino, en el que no sabe que ocurrirá, pero desde luego está determinado a conseguir volver a tener un gran poder e imperio. Con este pensamiento en la cabeza salió al camino, paso a paso avanzando por la espesura del bosque, solo...

Vasile now started a journey towards a new future, a new destiny, in which he doesn't know what will happen, but he's determined to get power and an empire again. With this thought he got to the road, step by step walking through the forest, alone...

Fabula: El mausoleo del bosque

Tor Fearan y su compañía siguen perdidos en el bosque de Farengar. Un buen día encuentran un mausoleo y entraron en el. Para su horror, encontraron pruebas de que un vampiro residía en él. Al verlo decidieron encender los braseros para que la luz le impidiera entrar y montar una emboscada cerca.

Tor Fearan and his retinue are still lost on Farengar's forest. One day they find a mausoleum and went in. To their horror, they found clues about it being the lair of a vampire. Seeing that they lit up the fires so the light made it harder for it to go inside and lay an ambush nearby.

Tras anochecer oyeron ruidos por el bosque y vieron a la lejanía el vampiro con un lobo enorme y un siervo humano.

After it became dark they heard noises on the forest and saw on the edge of the forest the vampire with a giant wolf and a human servant.

El siervo humano vadeo el río lentamente y con dificultad lo que le dió tiempo a Flynn a acertarle con dos flechas y así hacerle caer. Al mismo tiempo el lobo ya estaba cruzando el puente de piedra y Franz se preparaba para interceptarlo.

The human servant wade the river slowly and with difficulty, wich gave Flynn enough time to hit him with two arrows and so make it fell into the river. At the same time the wolf was already crossing the stone bridge and Franz was running to intercept it.

El vampiro se convirtió en una bandada de murciélagos para cruzar el rió sin complicación pero mientras avanzaba entre Franz y Tor despedazaron al lobo con facilidad con lo cual el vampiro decidió ir a por el brasero lejano.

The vampire transformed into a bat swarm to cross the river without difficulty but while it went Franz and Tor bested the wolf with ease wich made the vampire go for the farthest fire.

El vampiro volvió a su forma humana y apagó el brasero justo a tiempo para entablar combate con Tor el cual le estaba venciendo. En desesperación, el vampiro consiguió morder y sanarse algo y rápidamente se volvió murciélagos de nuevo y viajo hasta el otro brasero.

The vampire became human form again and doused the fire just in time to defend himself from Tor, wich was overwhelming him. By despair, the vampire managed to bite him and heal just a bit and quickly transformed again and traveled to another fire.

Franz se quedo en la esquina esperando por si venía pero al ver como volaba se giró inmediatamente, avisando a Flynn de que vendría por la espalda.

Flynn stayed in the corner waiting for the vampire to come but seeing him as a bat swarm, Franz turned away inmediatly and run towards the fire while telling Flynn it would come from the back.

Tor se apresuró a ir a por el pero ni siquiera hizo falta: el vampiro se defendió de Flynn y Franz pero entre los le batieron rápida y brutalmente, tal fue la acometida que Flynn acertó a Franz con una flecha. Ahora solo les quedaría esperar a que se recuperara para torturarle hasta que les dijera como salir del bosque, o bien perecer bajo la luz de la mañana.

Tor hurried towards him but it was unnecesary: the vampire tried to defend himself from Flynn and Franz but they destroyed him in combat in a brutal fashion, Flynn even hit Franz with an arrow. Now, they would wait until the vampire got better to question him about how to get out of the forest, or perish below the morning light.
